This episode was recorded live on the show floor at the 2026 Vintage Computer Festival Midwest!
We both went down to Chicago for the twenty-first Vintage Computer Festival Midwest! We ran tables, did talks, and hung out with our friends. And recorded a podcast episode together!
We managed to interview a few cool folks while we were there:
- Jeff Geerling and his NTP time booth!
- The Taylor and Amy Show, who were building an Altair clone!
- The Retro Tech Foundation, and their fancy recreation of Steve Jobs' garage!
- Joe's Computer Museum, home of all manner of parts to keep old computers computing!
- Ron's Computer Videos, who was doing a talk with Steve when we interrupted him.
- Steve from Mac84, who was doing a talk with Ron when we interrupted him.
- Ian Scott, creator of the PicoGUS and the soon-to-be-released PicoIDE!
- Eric Helgeson, creator of the BlueSCSI project!
